We travelled to Reims to participate in the Champagne weekend. The first evening was lovely with tastings at two independent champagne producers and that was followed by a meal in a nearby village. The following day was at leisure while on the evening we were taken to Epernay to visit the wine cellars of Moet and Chandon followed by a private meal in the Orangery at Moet and Chandon with a welcome glass of champagne and a matched meal with four different champagnes. The whole experience was wonderful with the right balance of organised activity and free time. It was a good sized group and we were able to witness the harvest of the grapes so it was a fairly unique experience. The overall experience was wonderful and I would have no hesitation in both Highly Recommending the trip and also in looking out future experiences to participate in. Thank you Melanie for your organisation and expertise.
